Groupon’s New Loyalty Program 
In a new search for monetization the group coupon site, Groupon has launched a new loyalty program-Groupon VIP. Customers pay $29.99 a year after a free three-month trial period and are rewarded with access to closed or sold out deals through the Groupon Deal Vault, the option to return vouchers in exchange for Groupon Bucks which they can then spend on other offers, and early access to deals which begin at 12 pm the day before they are open to non-VIP members.
The program is currently being tested in the selected markets of Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus (Ohio), Minneapolis and Orange County. Groupon fans can sign up online to find out when it will be available in their area.
